YOUR TASKS
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the work group in mechanical production
- Implementing activity-related quality and safety standards
- Ongoing work instruction and briefing of group employees
- Manage department-specific work documents
- Acceptance and preparation of material commissions for processing in the group
- Quality control of the finished assemblies before delivery incl. Logging
- Personnel and workflow planning of the working group
- Coordination with foreman regarding priority order of production
- Welding assembly of subassemblies according to production drawing
- Carrying out necessary ancillary work in accordance with the job description (drilling, grinding, sawing, straightening, prestressing)
- Performing lifting and manipulation work with the crane
- Care and maintenance work on tools and operating equipment
YOUR PROFIL
- Successfully completed training as a metal technician / locksmith
- Experienced skilled worker or foreman in metal technology
- Many years of experience in the production of steel structures
- Safe handling of MAG welding machines, good MAG welding skills
- Independent, precise and autonomous work, structured approach
- Communication skills and team-oriented cooperation across departmental boundaries and locations (international)
- Computer skills for continuous posting of operations in the ERP system
- Forklift and crane driver’s license incl. Driving experience
- Professional experience in a comparable position is desirable
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken German (knowledge of English an advantage)
- Driving license class B and own vehicle desirable
