We are looking for YOU!
As Austria’s leading crane construction company, we are expanding into central Europe. Our strengths lie in providing customer-specific solutions.
Every year we look to enhance our teams of apprentices in the fields of metal technology and machining technology as well as mechatronics and electrical engineering. If a training place is available, we also like to take on apprentices as mechanical engineering designers in our technical office.
Naturally, the 3.5 year training programme is in line with the characteristics of the job. Our aim is to fully integrate the trained apprentices into the team and, once they have successfully completed their apprenticeship, to employ them. As well as paying them during their apprenticeship we offer various social activities such as further training opportunities, meal vouchers as well as bonuses and extra bonuses for ‘very good’ reports.
Around 135 employees ensure production runs smoothly over around 17,400m2 of production and office space.
Our training manager Mr Neumann provides ‘his’ apprentices not only with professional know-how, he also strives to support the young people with help and advice, regardless of the subject matter. Mr Neumann, as well as many other employees, started as apprentices at Voith, making it easy for them to identify with the youngsters. From time to time, special apprentice outings are also offered in order to further strengthen team building.
Even after the apprenticeship has finished, Voith offers various further training opportunities. For example, crane and forklift licences can be obtained by means of wifi intranet courses. Further training is an individual matter and is tailored to the individual employee.
